Description:
A very special assembly was conducted to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Sr. Nirmala and Sr. Linnet, by the students of class 7th. It was a magnificent program that started with a prayer song that was followed by the lightning of the lamp by Sr. Regi, Sr. Nirmala, Sr. Linnet, Sr. Merrin and Mrs. Richa Gupta. The program was filled with heart touching songs, poems, speeches, and vibrant and unique dance performances. The children depicted the hard life of sisters through attributing words of English Alphabet A to Z. Sr. Linnet in her address to the school thanked the children and the teachers in her voice filled with love and emotions. She urged the students to be studious and responsible so that they may prove themselves the valuable assets to the country and society. Sr. Regi in her speech said that she was filled with dual emotions; on one hand, she was extremely happy for Sr. Nirmala and Sr. Linnet for their Golden Jubilee, on the other hand, she was sad for Sr. Nirmala as the day even marked the farewell of manager Sr. Nirmala. In heavy notes, she expressed her deep regards and thanks to Sr. Nirmala and said that she always had been a great source of support and confidence for her as well as for the institution. She appreciated the efforts of the teachers and the students in preparing such a meaningful program in a very short period of time. She especially admired the maximum participation of the students.
The day was even marked to celebrate the great achievement of our dynamic dance teacher who is a poetess as well, “Mrs. Ruchi Gopal Ruchir” as a cluster of her poems got published by “Vartmaan Ankur Sahitya”. Sr. Linnet congratulated her with a bouquet. To make the occasion even more memorable Mrs. Ruchi Gopal recited one poem from her newly published book “ANUBHUTI”.
