Description:
A special assembly was conducted by class X-C to celebrate Diwali. The students gave a brilliant performance and celebrated Diwali with the spirit of festivity. The programme was commenced by the lighting of ‘Diyas’ by Sr. Regi, Sr. Elina, Sr. Merin. Thereafter the students conducted the prayer service seeking God’s blessings. Sneha Singh and Vanshika Pandey of class X-C explained the meaning of Diwali which is lifting our hearts with hopes. Thereafter, the students through group dance and a skit highlighted the importance of “Green Diwali” and to show sympathy towards the poor and needy. Sr. Regi in her address explained the true meaning of Diwali which is to light the hearts of others and to do good to others. Finally, she wished a “Happy Diwali” to staff and students and urged everyone to celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali.
